Hamster Wheel of the Day

Remember the apocryphal story circulating the news and internet about Clinton staffers performing all sorts of pranks as they left the White House? While people still argue the veracity of that incident, I doubt it reaches the level of pettiness exhibited by President Bush towards President Elect Obama.

I'm Australian, and it's worth noting that John "Lying Rodent" Howard was so reviled by the electorate, that not only did his party suffer a massive swing and lose power at the 2007 election, but he lost his own seat.

The silly duffer's been swanning around having group hugs with the rest of the loser right since.

I'm pleased he's been awarded this medal - it just proves that a) Bush is a goose, and b) Howard's a sycophantic arse-licker.

I am no Aussie but I love the Aussie' willingness to speak ill of Politicians who deserve it!

I also believed Bush was being a petty @ss politician when he got in the way of allowing OUR President Elect to use the facilities we tax payers built and maintain.

If our Government does not seek to put on trial those of the Bush administration for crimes against our Nation and/or War crimes I will be upset and the new administration will become a party to lawlessness.

Two Saturdays ago, I attended my high school reunion celebrating twenty years since graduation. I initially had reservations about going at first, but I wanted to see my how my high school classmates evolved (and I to them) over the last twenty years; vain curiosity trumped everything else. A little background first: I did not enjoy high school very much. I did not have the clichéd experience some people believe high school to be (on either end of the spectrum). My days in high school were dollops of “good”, heaping tablespoons of “bad”, all on top of a wide base of “meh”.
